Software Engineer at RL Liquidators
Sacramento, California, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorAustin Ftacnik is a senior full-stack software engineer based in Sacramento with eight years of experience building web applications across TypeScript, Node, React, Next.js, and Postgres. He currently develops production systems at RL Liquidators after previous UI-focused roles at Showcase IDX and COC Games where he implemented pixel-accurate React components with thorough unit testing. Comfortable owning features end-to-end, he blends front-end finesse (Tailwind, responsive UIs) with backend pragmatism (SQL, Node) to deliver reliable, maintainable products. His background as a photographer and small business owner informs a strong design sensibility and customer-focused approach to engineering. Known for “strong opinions, loosely held,” he prioritizes learning, peer review, and shipping quality code in agile teams.
