Top SchoolAustin Haedicke is a licensed counselor and coach with 12 years of experience helping athletes, first responders, and healthcare workers integrate mental health, movement, and nutrition into sustainable high-performance lifestyles. As owner of Onward Counseling & Training, he blends trauma- and attachment-focused psychotherapy with experiential movement practices—using modalities like breathwork and submission grappling (BJJ) as somatic laboratories for emotional regulation and resilience. Trained with a 3.90 GPA master’s in psychology, he frames therapy as a relational detective work and tour guide role: exploring identity, distress tolerance, and interpersonal patterns to cultivate lasting change. His background spans clinical settings from partial hospitalization to school-based play therapy, giving him deep experience with children, adolescents, and adults across crisis and performance contexts. He uniquely translates principles learned in combat sports into everyday stress management and developmental coaching, emphasizing integration beyond prescriptive programs. Based in Villa Rica, GA, Austin also maintains a practitioner’s curiosity about creative, individualized paths to wellbeing that fuse evidence-based psychotherapy with movement-informed discovery.
