Top SchoolAustin Orth is a Senior DevOps Engineer with eight years building and operating cloud-native infrastructure, currently leading reliability and platform work at Machinify. He has deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, FluxCD, Helm, and GitHub Actions across complex, compliance-sensitive environments including AWS GovCloud and FedRAMP. As a former manager of SRE at Niche, he scaled teams, owned roadmaps, and drove migrations from legacy CI/CD to GitHub Actions while instituting monitoring, security, and cost reporting. He combines technical chops (bare-metal Postgres, AMIs, Cloudflare Workers, Kaniko) with an MBA focused on IT management, giving him both operational discipline and product-minded leadership. Outside engineering he founded Pittsburgh Tech Beat and DJs/produces, signaling strong community engagement and creative problem solving.
