Tembo DB is a PostgreSQL- 'inspired' database engine built with a combination of Rust and Golang modules. Tembo DB does not support SQL but provides a direct interface to the data representations and functions around it. That way we do not have to go through the archaic use of SQL that has to go throw a parser and translator.
