Top SchoolAuston Barboza is a software engineer with 10 years of experience building full-stack, mobile, and DevOps-first solutions, currently contributing at BDIPlus from Woodinville, WA. He blends hands-on infrastructure skills—from racking servers and Proxmox clusters to Kubernetes microservices—with practical AI experience, having deployed Gemini-powered chatbots and YOLO-based mobile object detection. His background includes reducing call center volume by 80% through UX and functionality improvements, cutting build costs via spot-instance strategies, and driving API and database performance gains under real production constraints. Comfortable across React, Node.js, .NET, mobile stacks, and cloud platforms (Azure, IBM Object Storage), he also automates releases and testing pipelines to accelerate delivery. Trained with an MS in Artificial Intelligence, he pairs academic ML knowledge with pragmatic system design and a taste for tinkering hardware and gizmos. Colleagues rely on him to mentor juniors and translate complex requirements into maintainable, observable systems.
