Top SchoolAvery Pfeiffer is a seasoned software leader with a decade of experience building production-ready AI systems and developer-facing platforms, currently serving as Associate Vice President of R&D for Qvest’s AppliedAI Practice in Washington, D.C. He blends hands-on engineering and architecture with product-driven R&D, driving reusable AI foundations that move ideas from prototype to production across media & entertainment, content ops, and modern media supply chains. Avery has deep expertise in low-latency, GPU-accelerated media pipelines, multimodal metadata extraction, and agentic workflows for discovery, recommendation, and operational automation. As a founder and former CTO, he scaled products and teams, shipped embedded firmware to fielded transit systems, and grew revenue to a six-figure ARR, demonstrating a pragmatic focus on deployable value. He also led platform modernization efforts at Virtru, simplifying front-end architecture via a microapplication framework, and has a persistent maker mindset reflected in side projects and tinkering on GitHub. Known for translating client needs into ROI-driven architectures, Avery favors product-first R&D that yields reusable code, measurable business outcomes, and production-grade systems.
