Top SchoolAvinash Nirala is a talent-focused founder and recruiter with over a decade of experience scaling early-stage and growth startups across E‑commerce, Data Science, Web3, AI, and Blockchain. As Co-Founder and Head of Talent at SkillPlug, he specializes in hiring the critical first hires and solving bottlenecks that determine whether a company moves from 0-to-1 or 1-to-n. His background spans building teams from scratch—growing Pharmeasy’s design org rapidly, leading recruitment for enterprise clients, and running operations for consumer brands—giving him a rare mix of strategic HR, hands-on hiring, and operational execution. He pairs an MBA in HR with an engineering degree, which helps him translate technical needs into practical hiring strategies for niche roles like Big Data and DevOps. Known for running community meetups and building remote teams across geographies, he often surfaces overlooked talent pipelines beyond standard job boards. Philosophical about people and practical about process, he enjoys working with founders building in emerging tech where the right early hires matter most.
