Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolAvre Barra is a pragmatic software engineer with 11 years of experience building and decoupling high-stakes backend systems for startups, unicorns, and government-style programs, currently shipping full-stack work at Mekari. Comfortable across Go, Ruby, Node, PHP, and modern front-ends, he specializes in moving legacy features into resilient Go services and designing systems that survive production traffic with zero-transition rollouts. He has led squads delivering payments, G2P/P2G programs, OCR and face-recognition integrations, and complex scheduling/time-management features. Known for technical analysis and system design rather than competitive coding, he pairs a product-minded pragmatism with AI-savvy tooling to get things built and maintained. Based in Surabaya, he’s as fond of elegant, poetic codebases as he is of practical engineering that reliably serves millions of users.
