Senior🎓
Top SchoolAxel Krysztofiak is a pragmatic backend developer with 11 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining PHP-based e-commerce and internal tooling systems. He has deep familiarity with Shopware, OXID, Symfony, Laravel and Pimcore, delivering REST APIs, modules and integrations that serve Angular frontends and complex shop ecosystems. Comfortable working across legacy platforms and modern PHP 8.x stacks, he focuses on backend architecture, feature implementation and long-term shop care rather than flashy frontends. Having moved between consultancy and in-house roles, he combines stable long-term maintenance skills with rapid feature delivery for client projects. Based in Cologne, he’s open to new PHP challenges and brings the practical discipline of someone who balances heavy professional workloads with low-key personal coding activity. An understated strength is his history of evolving projects from PHP5-era systems to current frameworks, making him effective at migration and compatibility work.
