Senior🎓
Top SchoolAxel Nilsson is a Product Engineer with nine years of hands-on experience building ML-driven systems and production-ready software across startups and research labs. He blends a strong research background—internships at AI Sweden, Ericsson, and EA SEED working on federated learning attacks, LLM code-generation pipelines, and opponent modeling—with practical engineering in C++, Go, Python and cloud-native deployments. Comfortable spanning prototyping (microwave imaging, computer vision) to scalable ML infrastructure (Kubernetes fine-tuning, benchmarking frameworks), he thrives on applying algorithms to real-world products. A competitive programmer since high school and an ex-national-level badminton medalist, Axel brings both analytical rigor and disciplined teamwork to problem solving. He’s currently applying this mix of research and product focus at Tandem Health, where he continues to push adaptive, secure ML systems into production.
