Top SchoolAyan Dave is a seasoned engineering leader with 14+ years of experience designing and delivering scalable cloud-native systems, currently serving as Director of Engineering at Veeva Systems where he is forming and leading the CRM Platform team. He combines deep hands-on expertise in Java, Spring, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes with a strong background in building microservices, data backbones and integration platforms from his time at McGraw-Hill and Fusion Alliance. Ayan’s career began in enterprise Java and Filenet projects and evolved into leading cross-cutting infrastructure like Kafka-based backbones, service discovery and feature toggle systems that supported high-traffic education products. He is comfortable shifting between technical leadership, architecture and people management, having grown teams, driven migrations during critical seasons, and mentored engineers. Based in Ohio with an MS in Computer Engineering, he brings a pragmatic, curious approach—equally at ease sketching system architecture or rolling up his sleeves to ship production code.
