Top SchoolAymeric Halé is a performance engineer specializing in optics and image processing for Earth observation, with 11 years of experience supporting European space projects. Based in Leiden, he currently works at ESA on the FLEX mission, focusing on mission performance, radiometry, end-to-end simulations and L1B product quality. His background blends rigorous optics training from Institut d'Optique and signal/image processing from Université de Bordeaux with hands-on prototyping in Python, UNIX workflows and embedded OBC programming. Notably, his master's work at ONERA demonstrated end-to-end sensor and neural network co-design for unconventional optics, bridging differential ray tracing and deep learning. He is committed to turning optical measurements into validated mission simulations and actionable data-quality metrics for the space industry.
