Ayub Subhaniya
Summary
🤩
RockstarAyub Subhaniya is a Senior Director of Engineering based in Dubai with 8 years of experience building production-grade AI for customer care, specializing in NLP, LLMs, RAG, and reinforcement learning. He has a track record of turning research into measurable business outcomes—doubling bot resolution rates, halving deployment timelines to under a week, and delivering an in-house CXM LLM that matches ~90% of GPT-4 accuracy at a tenth of the cost. Ayub designs scalable microservices inference platforms that run hundreds to thousands of models with minimal operational overhead and has applied RL to save 10% annually on global ad budgets. He’s built and retained a high-performing team of engineers with zero attrition over three years while driving patent-pending innovations in conversational analytics and deployment automation. Comfortable both in hands-on model engineering and strategic leadership, he has repeatedly translated conversational data into dynamic knowledge bases and product features adopted by 200+ global clients. An unexpected strength: he combines deep systems-level optimization (inference speedups, model compilation) with product-focused outcomes like AHT reduction and multilingual performance gains.
