Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolBalaji Narrayanan is a pragmatic Quality of Service engineer with 11 years of experience building and operating cloud-native infrastructure and developer tools across Apple, Zendesk, Grab and Cisco. He blends Python full‑stack skills with deep SRE expertise—Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker and configuration management (Ansible/Salt)—to deliver reliable, cost‑optimized systems and internal monitoring/visualization tools. Comfortable shipping both backend services (Django/Flask) and frontend interfaces (React/Angular), he has repeatedly converted monoliths to microservices and automated observability and deployment pipelines. Known for clear technical documentation and presentations, he pairs hands‑on scripting with product-oriented thinking to reduce operational toil. Based in Singapore with a Master’s in Software Engineering from NUS, he actively stays current on tooling and open‑source practices (GitHub: sourcepirate), often focusing on pragmatic automation rather than theoretical complexity.
