Summary
👤
SeniorBalakrishnan K is a Senior Software Engineer based in Singapore with 13 years of experience building scalable web platforms and front-end architectures for startups and fintech. He has led frontend engineering and served as technical architect for Tookitaki’s data science platform, shaping UI/UX, technology decisions and best practices across AngularJS, React, Redux and D3. Currently at BitMEX, he brings a strong background in high-throughput systems from earlier startup work—designing queue-based processing and classification pipelines that handled hundreds of millions of tweets and thousands of API requests per minute. Comfortable across the full stack, he pairs pragmatic product-facing engineering with mentorship and architectural rigor, and has repeatedly migrated teams to modern, maintainable frontends such as React/Redux PWAs.
