Top SchoolBaldur Helgason is a pragmatic software developer with 12 years of experience building full-stack web applications and microservices, currently contributing at Jiko from Reykjavik. He has led front-end modernization efforts—replacing legacy PHP monoliths with Next.js, React and GraphQL—while optimizing conversions through A/B testing and progressive rollouts. His background spans Scala microservices, TypeScript/ReasonML front-ends, mobile and backend systems, giving him fluency across the stack and deployment patterns. Comfortable in Agile teams and cross-functional roles, he has also taken on project management and product leadership within Holacratic structures.
