Top SchoolBarry Carlyon is an independent contractor and full-stack web developer with 17 years of experience building streaming-focused infrastructure, e-commerce integrations and bespoke web tools from Wales. He combines deep hands-on skills across 14 programming languages with a knack for rapid learning—often picking up new web languages over a weekend—to solve complex integration problems like OBS widgets and Shopify-Seller API flows. Barry has led infrastructure for high-profile streamers, architecting moderation bots, virtual-currency systems, overlay and tipping platforms, and now consults with Whatnot to tighten their OBS and Shopify integrations. He also contributes unpaid time to maintain the IGDB game database that powers Twitch categories and streams regularly as a Twitch Partner and Ambassador, blending developer craftsmanship with a community-facing presence. Known for pragmatic research into system flows and a creative flair for UX and content generation, he excels at turning multi-source workflows into reliable, user-centric systems.
