Senior🎓
Top SchoolBarry Squire is a Senior Consultant with 11 years' experience and over eight years focused on complex ETL and DataStage-led data migration programs for large enterprises including GSK, Transurban and EnergyAustralia. He combines hands-on job design and performance tuning with solutions architecture and delivery leadership, having led multi-site DevOps and offshore teams to remediate failed warehouses and migrate millions of records into Oracle CC&B utilities. Known for instigating peer review and unit test disciplines, he measures code quality with KPIs like cyclomatic complexity and automated test failure rates to drive predictable, auditable delivery. Barry is equally comfortable in low-level database tuning (Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Direct Path) and custom DataStage parallel routines, and he pairs that technical depth with Scrum Master responsibilities. He has a track record of building reconciliation and audit frameworks used as program go/no-go gates—an often overlooked but critical element in high-risk migrations. Based in Greater Melbourne, he brings pragmatic leadership that turns complex mapping rules and legacy chaos into reliable, production-grade data platforms.
