Top SchoolBas Cancrinus is a Tech Lead in Cloud Transformation based in Berlin with over two decades of experience designing and engineering mission-critical business applications and more than a decade in hands-on software roles. He blends deep Java and full-stack expertise with leadership stints across industries—from finance and aviation to media and e-commerce—driving cloud migrations and resilient backend architectures. Recently leading cloud transformation efforts at netgo after senior development roles at Sky and Scout24, he excels at translating legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native platforms. Collected experience as a lead developer and scrum master at institutions like the Dutch Central Bank and Schiphol underpins his pragmatic approach to risk-aware delivery. He pairs formal training in Business Information Systems with a track record of steady cross-sector impact, and is known for moving quickly between hands-on coding and strategic technical direction. Unusually for a cloud lead, his career traces back through deep enterprise Java application design, giving him a rare combination of low-level systems knowledge and modern cloud architecture fluency.
