Top SchoolBas Van De Wiel is a Domain Architect with 14 years of experience designing and operating cloud, connectivity and platform solutions for large enterprises in the Netherlands. He combines deep hands-on Linux/FreeBSD and datacenter roots with product-focused leadership—shaping cloud landing zones, multicloud automation and managed service portfolios that align technical and commercial goals. At organisations like de Volksbank, Enexis and KPN he’s moved from nuts-and-bolts engineering into strategic roles, balancing operational excellence, compliance and future-proof architecture. A lifelong “hacker” turned professional, he brings practical DevOps, networking and automation expertise informed by early career work in web content and media. Colleagues rely on him to translate complex infrastructure trade-offs into clear product decisions and marketable services.
