Senior🎓
Top SchoolBasem Vaseghi is a seasoned software engineer with 11 years of professional experience, currently building systems at Google after an extended senior engineering tenure at Daimler TSS. He brings a practical full-stack background across Java, Python, and web frameworks, with hands-on experience in voice biometrics, fraud detection, data warehousing and telephony systems. As owner of an IT consulting practice and a former board member at the Eclipse Foundation, he blends technical execution with mentorship and ecosystem stewardship. Based in Germany, he has moved between industry and consultancy roles, turning complex domain requirements into reliable, production-ready systems. His academic path from chemistry to a computer science degree hints at an analytical, cross-disciplinary approach to problem solving. Colleagues would describe him as the kind of engineer who follows code—and somehow has code following him.
