Top SchoolBassam Alase is a founder and UI/UX lead with nine years of multidisciplinary experience spanning system engineering, research, design, and content creation, currently based in the Netherlands. He builds Bitcoin-first products and education: founder of Cypher Box, an all-in-one Android Bitcoin + Lightning wallet focused on custody and usability, and founder of Bitcoin21, an Arabic open-access Bitcoin education and consulting platform for the MENA region. His GitHub ethos—“The Horde and Alliance can coexist”—reflects a collaborative, cross-community approach to open technologies. Trained in energy systems engineering, he brings systems thinking to fintech product design and operations.
