Top SchoolBastien Auneau is a seasoned embedded systems architect and developer with over a decade of hands-on R&D experience in satellite communications, airborne measurements, and high-throughput signal processing. He specializes in C/C++ development on Linux and Yocto-based platforms, kernel-space drivers, FPGA integration, and real-time data pipelines handling gigabit streams. As a freelance engineer and former senior architect at TSAT, he has led DVB‑RCS2 projects for ESA and industry partners, built docker-based testbeds, and authored cross-platform libraries and Yocto layers while migrating boot and kernel stacks. He also co-founded Terremys to design synchronized airborne magnetic sampling systems, bridging STM32, PX4/ArduPilot integration, GNSS/IMU fusion and production-grade C++ processing converted from Matlab. Based in Nantes, Bastien is comfortable across low-level kernel work and system architecture, with a proven ability to translate research prototypes into maintainable, CI-driven deployments. An understated strength is his frequent role as the connector between FPGA, kernel drivers and high-level APIs (gRPC/JSON), ensuring end-to-end operational systems.
