Top SchoolBehfar Lotfizadeh is a versatile technology leader and operations specialist with 10 years of experience building tools and processes that make organizations run smoother. Based in Calgary, he blends hands-on technical work—automating onboarding, integrating ticketing and barcode systems, and developing internal web apps—with leadership of large volunteer-driven events as Chair of Otafest. At Reach and prior roles he has driven TechOps, negotiated vendor contracts, and created integrations that reduced manual work and improved visibility and security. He has a background in science and education from the University of Calgary and a knack for turning repetitive tasks into automated solutions, regularly delivering multi-hour-to-day savings across teams. Known as an “amateur programmer and streamer,” he brings a practical, user-focused mindset to tooling and documentation that helps both technical and non-technical stakeholders. His combination of event operations, client-facing implementation experience, and automation-first thinking makes him effective at scaling people, processes, and systems.
