Top SchoolBen Clark is a marketplace and operations leader with 13 years of experience scaling consumer software and enterprise SaaS teams, currently serving as VP of Marketplace Operations at SeatGeek in Boise. He runs COO-style functions spanning customer support, professional services, fraud and risk operations, event cataloging, and workforce planning, and cut costs as a proportion of revenue by 40% in his first year while improving engagement. Previously he built SeatGeek’s acquisition and retention engines from the ground up—hand-coding attribution models, creating a CRM stack, and doubling messaging revenue—demonstrating a rare blend of technical analytics and people leadership. Ben’s background in business intelligence at Salesforce and early-stage ops at startups gives him strong chops in data-driven decision making and operational design. He pairs a Vanderbilt degree in Economics and East Asian Studies with practical experience in building teams from zero to scale, and is notable for translating complex marketplace friction into measurable business outcomes.
