Senior🎓
Top SchoolBen Dalton is a senior software engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable front-end systems and leading cross-functional teams from Charlotte, NC. He blends hands-on React/Angular development with UX leadership, having managed both design and front-end engineering teams and reduced onboarding and performance bottlenecks through consolidated component and state strategies. At Roofstock he improved GIS visualization with Mapbox and helped migrate legacy APIs to federated GraphQL to cut data transfer and calls, while currently contributing at CloudZero and running his own consulting practice, Dalton Development. Ben’s background shows a strong bias for pragmatic architecture—micro-frontends, federated queries, and styling conventions—that accelerates team velocity and product impact. He studied history at UNC Charlotte, a nontraditional path that informs his attention to user context and narrative in product design. Colleagues rely on him for creative technical pivots that turn exploratory ideas into production-ready features.
