Top SchoolBen Elliott is a Front-end Developer with 16 years' experience building internal and client-facing web platforms for finance and ad-tech firms, currently designing and implementing web tooling at a quantitative investment manager in London. He combines a Cambridge Computer Science background with hands-on expertise in modern front-end stacks (TypeScript, Angular.js-era experience) and a pragmatic focus on UX from earlier roles at SwiftKey. Prior work includes startup engineering at Affectv and contributions to socially minded open-source projects like Sapelli, reflecting a blend of product-driven development and civic-tech interest. Outside of front-end work he brings deep Linux systems administration experience from financial services and contributes to open-source in his spare time, which informs his attention to reliability and deployment concerns. Colleagues rely on him to translate complex domain requirements into usable interfaces while keeping production resilience front of mind.
