Ben Grossmann is a startup-minded engineering leader and founder with 10 years of hands-on experience building scalable, security-focused platforms from bootstrapped teams to enterprise deployments. Currently Co-Founder & CEO at Alma Security in Tel Aviv, he previously scaled Wib’s engineering org from 0 to 30 engineers and shipped three products in eight months as the company’s first engineer and VP of Engineering. His background blends senior engineering roles at Dropbox and early-stage product and tech leadership at Secful (YC W16), where he architected big-data and API security systems using Kubernetes, Spark, Cassandra and JVM technologies. Ben cut his teeth on high-performance, real-time systems in the IDF and at Ravello, giving him a strong foundation in low-latency, distributed architectures and cloud platforms. He combines product-first thinking with deep technical ownership—recruiting teams, defining roadmaps and delivering production-grade systems end-to-end. A Reichman University computer science graduate, he is known for turning security and observability requirements into pragmatic, scalable engineering solutions.
