Top SchoolBen Heller is a technology leader and CTO based in New Haven with nine years of hands-on experience building large-scale consumer and safety-focused platforms. He has led engineering at Driver Technologies to bring computer vision and data-driven collision alerts to mainstream devices after developing high-throughput cloud media services at Plex that served hundreds of millions of daily requests. Comfortable spanning mobile, backend, and embedded domains, he has shipped native iOS/Android apps, cloud services in Node/TypeScript, and real-time data pipelines at scale. A former director at Arccos and founder of small digital agencies, he pairs product-minded engineering management with early-stage company instincts. His background in English linguistics and medieval studies belies a creative, user-centric approach to technical problems and a persistent interest in music and media. He focuses on democratizing advanced tech—making safety and premium media experiences accessible beyond premium hardware buyers.
