Top SchoolBen Keenan is a Lead Engineer and seasoned game programmer with 11 years of experience shipping award-winning titles across mobile, PC, and console, including The Darkside Detective series, Empire of Sin, and Star Trek: Fleet Command. Based in Galway, Ireland, he has deep Unity expertise but a clear personal interest in Godot, self-hosting, and digital sovereignty. He’s progressed from intern roles to leading core technology on undisclosed projects at DIGIT/Scopely, combining gameplay programming with system-level client engineering. Comfortable across platforms and studios, Ben brings both creative design sensibilities (story, dialogue, level design) and robust technical delivery to projects. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic engineer who pairs product-minded thinking with a filmmaker’s narrative instincts, an unusual mix that helps craft engaging player experiences.
