Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolBen Lodge is a Senior Software Engineer based in Penryn, England, with over a decade of experience building web applications and cloud-native microservices. He blends strong front-end expertise—React, Backbone and large-scale UI tooling—with hands-on backend work in Go and Python, having migrated legacy systems to Kubernetes and Azure using GitOps practices. Ben has repeatedly led projects across the full stack, from custom CSS frameworks and component-driven Storybook libraries to event-driven services with Postgres, MongoDB, Kafka and Redis. He’s comfortable in security-minded roles, having taught front-end browser security workshops and implemented robust CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code pipelines. Colleagues can expect a pragmatic engineer who moves between UI polish and scalable backend architecture while prioritising testability and operability.
