Senior🎓
Top SchoolBen Margolis is a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience building and scaling distributed systems, developer platforms, and backend services across SaaS, fintech, and media. He combines a BS in Computer Science and an MBA in Product Management to translate business priorities into reliable, maintainable cloud-native solutions using Go, Python, Java, Kubernetes, and AWS. Ben has led cross-functional platform and SRE teams, improved developer experience, and shipped measurable improvements—from 10x larger upload limits to reduced processing times and automated integration tests. He pairs pragmatic engineering (Fixing hard Node.js limits, batching DB queries, adding tracing/metrics) with product-minded leadership to accelerate delivery and lower operational risk. An early founder of an online-ordering startup, he brings entrepreneurial curiosity to platform work and consistently mentors teams toward craftsmanship and blameless post-mortems. Based in New York, he excels at turning vague requirements into production-grade systems that scale.
