Top SchoolBen Pokorny is a pragmatic tech support and QA professional with nine years of experience across EMR systems, lab integrations, and customer-facing technical roles. He spent five years at MacPractice evolving from general support to sole Labs representative and finally QA analyst, working in an Agile Kanban environment and owning manual web, app, and hardware testing across the SDLC. Ben excels at translating client needs into reliable integrations—particularly automating lab result ingestion into patient records—and has hands-on experience with systems and regression testing. At ISoft Data Systems he continues to apply that blend of customer empathy and technical troubleshooting to support production systems. Comfortable on the front lines of support and quality assurance, he’s interested in expanding into automated testing to scale the manual practices he’s refined. Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, he builds useful tools in his spare time, reflecting a practical, maker-oriented mindset.
