Top SchoolBen Shell is a Front-End Development Manager with 13 years of experience architecting and shipping modern web and mobile applications, currently leading front-end efforts at Accenture Song. He blends hands-on React, React Native, and GraphQL development with team leadership, build system evaluation, and cloud infrastructure work to deliver testable, production-ready systems across distributed teams. His background spans CMS and large-site builds (Drupal, Ruby on Rails, MEAN stack) and operational tooling using Docker, Chef, and AWS, giving him full-stack fluency and an emphasis on maintainable, configurable architectures. A creative tinkerer off-hours—building LEGO, metalworking projects, and a backyard garden railroad—he brings practical problem-solving and a passion for teaching, mentoring students and colleagues alike. Notably, he champions rapid prototyping that evolves into reusable libraries, balancing speed of innovation with long-term code quality.
