Senior🎓
Top SchoolBen Wainwright is an engineering manager with 11 years of hands-on web engineering experience, focused on React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node and AWS serverless architectures. He has led and scaled teams to deliver greenfield design systems, platform CI improvements and customer-facing product features at organisations including Awaze, cinch and the BBC. Ben excels at enabling engineers to do their best work—building processes, templates and communities of practice (notably a TypeScript community at cinch) to raise delivery quality. His background includes full-stack product work, platform and DevEx improvements, and a side-built meal-prep app that still runs a small business—evidence of pragmatic end-to-end ownership. Open to permanent technical lead or principal roles that align with his stack and people-focused leadership style.
