Top SchoolBen Warfield is a Staff Software Engineer in Washington, D.C. with eight years of focused experience building reliable, high-impact systems for public-sector and health-tech organizations. He’s delivered production services at Flatiron Health and helped modernize pandemic-ready public health infrastructure and immigration benefits systems at the U.S. Digital Service, bringing practical full‑stack expertise across Java, Python, AWS, and data-backed platforms. Known for an almost unhealthy obsession with code quality and reuse, he combines hands-on implementation with architecture and modernization work, including authentication, session management, and data sync services. His background in chemistry (Yale) and an MS in Computer Science informs a methodical, data-oriented approach to problem solving that prefers durable solutions over quick fixes.
