Top SchoolBen Westrate is a front-end-focused developer with 11 years of engineering experience and over seven years in consulting, currently building web experiences at AgileBits. He combines web application design, graphic design, and practical API and SEO experience to craft simple solutions for complex business problems, often stepping into architecture and project leadership roles. Comfortable with both legacy stacks (EXTjs, jQuery-UI, Knockout) and modern front-end practices, he excels at translating design intent into maintainable, user-friendly interfaces. A collaborative team player who deliberately asks one more question, he seeks roles that push his boundaries and encourage continuous learning. Based in Batavia, Illinois, he brings a pragmatic blend of aesthetic sensibility and technical rigor honed across agencies and product teams.
