Top SchoolBenedikt Tissot is a theoretical physicist and postdoctoral researcher at the Niels Bohr Institute with 10 years of research experience focused on quantum information, solid-state physics, and non-equilibrium dynamics. He specializes in engineered light–matter interactions and entanglement generation for quantum networks, building on a PhD on transition metal defects in SiC and prior work in bath engineering for nonlinear systems. Trained at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and the University of Konstanz, he combines rigorous analytical skills with a hands-on theoretical approach to problems at the interface of condensed matter and quantum optics. Based in Copenhagen, he brings a strong track record of publications and interdisciplinary collaborations, and a knack for translating complex many-body physics into concepts applicable to emerging quantum technologies.
