Top SchoolBenjamin Batya is a seasoned software engineer with 19 years of experience building real-time UIs, middleware, and embedded systems across games, medical devices, and XR tooling. He has architected and shipped cross-platform rendering and simulation stacks (Vulkan/DX/Metal) and led C++ development at Meta to halve iteration time for headset projects while mentoring junior engineers. His work blends low-level embedded control (nRF52, precise medical positioning) with high-performance graphics and tooling—shipping interactive apps that handle millions of polygons and frame-accurate media in the browser via Wasm. Benjamin is skilled at turning complex requirements into usable interfaces through user testing and bespoke architectures, and he repeatedly delivers on time and on budget. Based in San Francisco and grounded in an EECS degree from UC Berkeley, he is focused on evolving into middleware and realtime engineering roles in games or embedded devices.
