Top SchoolBenjamin Dubois-taine is a postdoctoral researcher and optimization specialist with nine years of experience bridging applied mathematics, machine learning, and energy systems. Currently dual-affiliated with EDF and Inria's Disco team in Paris, he develops numerical optimization methods for electricity networks informed by a strong PhD background at École normale supérieure and Inria SIERRA. His work spans theory-to-practice: from Fermat–Weber problems and algorithmic improvements in numerical solvers to applied ML for satellite imagery and transport scheduling. He has academic teaching experience in machine learning and algorithms and practical data-science internships where he implemented both classical and deep learning pipelines. Comfortable moving between rigorous mathematical analysis and production-oriented code, he brings an uncommon combination of high-precision research and hands-on engineering to large-scale optimization challenges.
