Top SchoolBenjamin Jaffe-talberg is a software engineer with a decade of experience building human-centered technology that addresses social and ecological challenges, from co-founding an alternative-fuel mapping service to leading ML-driven, screen-less classroom systems. He combines hands-on expertise across ML (PyTorch), video and sensor data pipelines, cloud and on-prem Kubernetes, and full-stack development in languages including Python, Go, Rust, Java, and Vue. At Wildflower Labs he optimized computer-vision models and engineered discreet classroom hardware and secure high-volume data capture; at NextEra he translated complex financial models into production analysis tools. Comfortable working with low-tech stakeholders as well as data scientists, he excels at turning ambiguous social needs into robust technical systems. Based in Minneapolis, he brings both startup grit and enterprise discipline—equally at home shipping inference services and designing educational technology. He’s motivated by using system architecture and data management to create scalable, equitable impact.
