Summary
🤩
RockstarBenjamin Miles is a pragmatic technology leader and entrepreneur who blends hands-on software engineering with operational IT leadership, currently serving as CEO of eau.dev and Director of IT for Lake Holcombe School District. He has built and maintained 68 microservices on lean, cost-conscious infrastructure and led a large codebase migration from legacy JavaScript to TypeScript while designing GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines that removed manual deployments. Equally comfortable rebooting network switches at 6 AM as he is shipping production code, he migrated a school district from Cisco to UniFi to cut costs and improve performance. Azure Data Engineer certified and fluent with Google Workspace, M365, Linux, and serverless Azure, he codes in TypeScript, Node.js, C#, Java, and Go. A founder of community-focused projects and a long-time systems operator, he emphasizes solutions that work reliably in the real world, not just in staging. Based in rural Wisconsin, he pairs operational grit with a developer’s discipline to deliver practical, maintainable systems.
