Senior🎓
Top SchoolBenjamin Müllner is a Staff Security Engineer based in Vienna with 10 years of experience building cloud-native, Golang backend systems and securing large-scale microservice platforms. At Bitpanda he progressed from senior Golang developer to leading the Security Platform, driving decomposition of monoliths, introducing scalable tech stacks, and embedding application security and automation into delivery pipelines. Previously he led cross-language open-source SDK development and compliance-focused testing at fiskaly, where he also helped design a core Go shared library and the main RESTful customer API. Comfortable across the stack—from PostgreSQL-backed data services to Linux server operations—he blends hands-on engineering with developer experience and security certification know-how. A detail not obvious from titles: he has hands-on statistical and data-analysis experience from academic work, pairing rigorous data practices with secure system design.
