Benjamin Nelan
Freelance Post-Production at Sole Trader
Tasmania, Australia
Summary
👤
SeniorBenjamin Nelan is a freelance post-production specialist based in Tasmania with over a decade of experience crafting motion graphics, editing, and graphic design for short films and broadcast clients. Since 2012 he has delivered projects for brands and organizations including Culture Kings, The Common Good, Royal Hobart Hospital partners, and various training and broadcast bodies. Comfortable in fast-turnaround environments, he’s known to convert urgent briefs into polished deliverables—sometimes at the cost of a determined all-nighter. Early industry exposure at studios like Animal Logic and hands-on work separating painting elements for parallax at Roar Film sharpened his technical eye and compositing skills. Equally at home on small independent commissions and larger institutional briefs, he blends completionist attention to detail with a playful, slightly quirky creative sensibility.
