Top SchoolBenjamin Sonntag is a seasoned CEO, free-software advocate and entrepreneur with over 15 years building managed hosting, streaming and web solutions from the ground up. He founded Octopuce in 2004 to deliver Linux-based hosting, security audits and bespoke web/video platforms (notably the FocusManager recording/calendar system) and has deep operational experience in high-availability infrastructure, BGP, monitoring and database-backed web development. A co-founder of La Quadrature du Net, he blends technical leadership with digital rights activism, and often chooses free software end-to-end for production stacks. Based in Nogent-sur-Seine, he is as comfortable managing system/network teams as he is writing and deploying custom streaming technology on Linux servers.
