Benoît Arnould is a chemical biologist and postdoctoral researcher based in Paris with eight years’ experience developing advanced protein and RNA labeling strategies and pushing the limits of super-resolution bioimaging. He has led nanoscale, optics-free microscopy and transcriptomics projects at Washington University and Emory, and completed a PhD in molecular neurobiology focused on ligand-directed covalent labeling for super-resolutive microscopy. Comfortable at the bench and in data analysis, he combines hands-on assay development with computational transcriptomics to map RNA localization and modifications at the nanoscale. Originally trained in medicinal chemistry and biosynthesis, he brings a rare cross-disciplinary fluency that bridges chemistry, optics and sequencing technologies. Off the bench he’s also a backend tinkerer (and cat owner), reflecting a practical engineering mindset applied to biological problems.
