Senior🎓
Top SchoolBentley Cook is a senior software engineer and engineering leader with 11 years of experience building developer platforms, APIs, and mission-driven products. He balances hands-on architecture and product management—currently shaping platform work at Fairglow while maintaining global health tooling as Executive Director for the Varo Foundation. His career spans developer advocacy at Atlassian and Trello, director-level engineering leadership at Bellhops, and long-term stewardship of cold-chain monitoring apps used worldwide through Tubetube. Bentley is passionate about empowering other engineers with delightful tooling and has a proven track record of shipping reliable full-stack systems in resource-constrained environments. Based in Sewanee, TN, he combines practical technical depth (from frontend and backend development to platform design) with program-level thinking that drives adoption and sustainability. An unusual thread through his work is a consistent focus on public-good projects—vaccination logistics and financial inclusion—where technology directly improves operational outcomes.
