Senior🎓
Top SchoolBernard K is a Senior Data Engineer with 8 years of experience building and modernizing data platforms across online travel and digital banking. He has led migrations from legacy ETL frameworks to dbt-powered, BigQuery-based architectures and implemented end-to-end data lineage to improve consistency and transparency for multiple business units. Comfortable across cloud and on-premise stacks, he frequently uses Airflow, PySpark, Hive, Hadoop and Greenplum to design scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines. At Traveloka he centralized Customer Care data into a standardized warehouse; at SMBC he built a reusable framework that accelerated data product delivery and supported a warehouse-to-datalake migration. Based in South Tangerang, Indonesia, Bernard pairs hands-on engineering with a master's-level CS background and a track record of translating analyst needs into production-grade analytics. He also brings a teaching mindset from earlier work instructing kids in programming, which informs his collaborative approach to knowledge sharing.
