Top SchoolBharat Kathi is a software engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building full-stack and embedded systems, currently contributing to video and ML infrastructure at Persona. A UC Santa Barbara computer engineering student, he founded and led Gaucho Racing’s data subteam, architecting a telemetry platform that ingests 200+ sensors and runs on an on-car Jetson Orin Nano. His background spans firmware for vehicle control units, cloud analytics, and internal tooling—bridging software and electrical engineering in robotics and real-time systems. He has practical experience integrating data platforms (Snowpark/Iceberg) from an internship at SingleStore and has built tooling for automation and competition teams since high school. Known for a pragmatic “i like to make stuff” approach, he favors shipping working systems that connect hardware sensors to scalable dashboards. Based in Fremont, CA, he combines competitive robotics roots with production-focused ML and video infrastructure work.
