Senior🎓
Top SchoolBhu Vidya is a seasoned software engineer and project manager based in Melbourne with over a decade of hands-on experience designing and shipping full-stack systems, from C++ desktop tools to LAMP-based web platforms. As Lead Developer at Feral Arts he architected PlaceStories and built a substantial C++ media creation tool alongside a heavily AJAX-driven website and custom Apache/sysadmin solutions. His background includes mission-critical, service-oriented data collectors for the Australian Bureau of Meteorology that emphasized modular input/output plugs and robust IPC for 24/7 operation. Fluent in C, C++, PHP, JavaScript, SQL and shell scripting, he combines low-level systems thinking with pragmatic web engineering and a knack for making Apache “do stuff.” Always learning, he’s actively moving toward Big Data and iOS development, and brings a practical, creator-first approach to projects serving remote and disadvantaged communities.
